An 11-year-old boy accidentally shot a teacher with a pellet gun at a Queens school Monday afternoon, police said.

According to a police spokesman, the youth brought the BB gun to I.S. 5-Walter Crowley Intermediate School, located at 50-40 Jacobus Street in Elmhurst, around 2 p.m.

As he was showing it to his friends inside the auditorium, it accidentally went off striking a teacher in the ankle.

The teacher declined medical attention and the gun was confiscated from the student.

The thing is, his parents didn’t know he had owned one. He is a pretty decent (still really annoying) kid but this practically ruined and destroyed his reputation. Even though he is a close friend of mine, what he did was really stupid!

I knew him too. It was a pretty stupid decision of him to bring a weapon like that to school. I hope he’s changed over time and has learned from the mistakes he’s made in the past. Although he made a pretty stupid decision, I understand that it was just an accident. We all make accidents.

to be honest, you guys should chill just a little. Yes, it was his mistake that he shot a teacher with a BB gun in the ankle, but he is still a good kid! yes, he can also be quite annoying, but how would you guys feel if you did a small little mistake that led to you getting expelled
