A 45-year-old man was stabbed in Jackson Heights Saturday after getting in to a dispute with three men, police said.
The incident was initially reported as a gang related stabbing and robbery, but according to police, the four men were drinking at a bar and there was an argument that ended in the assault.
A NYPD Spokesman said a video shows the group approached the victim from behind and stabbed him in the back near the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and 90th Street around 7 p.m.
The victim was treated for a 1-inch deep stab wound at Elmhurst Hospital. He was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Police have not release the victim’s name.
No arrests have been made.
