A man broke into a Jackson Heights jewelry store last month and made of with more than $2,000 in cash, according to police.

The suspect entered Jeweler’s Emporium, located at 37-06 82nd Street, at around 8:40 pm on Saturday, April 22, and took approximately $2,000 in cash, a decorative knife and approximately $200 worth of coins, police said.

The suspect is described as white, between 50-60 years old, 6’0” tall and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes.
