Police release video of man believed to be involved in 19 local robberies

Police are searching for two or three men who have allegedly assaulted and robbed 19 victims in Jackson Heights and Corona in the past few months, and have released a photo and video of one of the suspects.

According to police, between December 28 and February 6, the suspects attacked 19 people, punching the victims in the back of the head, knocking them to the ground, and stealing their property. None of the victims were seriously injured.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men between 20 and 30 years old, and police have just released a photograph and video of one of the suspects.

The suspects attacked two victims in December. The first incident was on December 28 around 4:30 a.m. when a 28-year-old victim was robbed at the corner of Junction Boulevard and 40th Road. The second incident was on December 30 at 4:40 a.m. when a 46-year-old victim was robbed at the corner of 39th Avenue and 108th Street.

Throughout the month of January, the suspects attacked and robbed 15 people. On January 21, two to three suspects robbed a 29-year-old man at 6 a.m. at 39th Avenue and 108th Street. They struck again on January 6, robbing a 26-year-old man at 11:30 p.m. at the corner of 42nd Avenue and 104th Street.

On January 9, the suspects robbed a 39-year-old man at 3:30 a.m. at 38th Avenue and 111th Street, and then robbed a 40-year-old man outside 100-03 49th Avenue at 4 a.m. on the same day.

The suspects again robbed two people on January 13, the first a 46-year-old man outside 104-76 43rd Avenue at 4:25 a.m. and the second a 24-year-old man at 8:50 p.m. at 41st Avenue and National Street.

On January 14 the suspects robbed a 44-year-old man at 5:20 a.m. at 45th Avenue and 104th Street, and on January 20 they robbed a 22-year-old man at 37th Avenue and 112th Street at 2:25 a.m.

The suspects robbed two more people on January 22, the first a 29-year-old man at 2:30 a.m. near 34th and 35th Avenues, and the second a 28-year-old man at 5:15 a.m. outside 100-02 Roosevelt Avenue.

The following morning, January 23, the suspects robbed a 46-year-old man at 2:35 a.m. at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and 108th Street.

The suspects robbed three people on January 26. They robbed a 29-year-old man at 2:30 a.m. near 37th and 38th Avenues, then robbed a 35-year-old man at 2:45 a.m. outside 37-42 102nd Street, and robbed a 38-year-old man at 4:20 a.m. at 37th and 38th Avenues.

On January 28, the suspects robbed a 29-year-old man around 3 a.m. at 37th Avenue and 102nd Street.

The suspects finished up their robbing spree in early February. On February 5 they robbed a 27-year-old man around 10:10 p.m. at the intersection of Elmhurst Avenue and Ithaca Street, and on February 6 they robbed a 51-year-old man at 1: 45 a.m. at Cornish Avenue and Broadway.
