Police are searching for five men who allegedly forced their way into a 60-year-old woman’s apartment, displayed a gun and robbed her.

The robbery took place on July 7 at around 4:50 pm within the confines of the 115th Precinct, which covers a portion of Jackson Heights, northern Corona and East Elmhurst. The police elected not to be more specific in terms of where the incident occurred.

The five suspects entered the victim’s apartment on July 7 at 4:50 pm, displayed a handgun and forced the woman to the floor, causing minor injuries to her arm, according to the NYPD.

The suspects then went into the woman’s bedroom, broke into a locked filing cabinet and took an undisclosed amount of money, before fleeing in a black SUV.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males, roughly 25-years-old. They are all roughly six feet tall, 150 pounds and have a dark complexion, police said.

Police are asking anyone with any information to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
