Man punched, kicked and struck with bottle on Corona street, police say

Police are searching for two men who punched, kicked and struck another man with a beer bottle in Corona last month.

One of the men pushed the 34-year-old victim to the ground at about 2:30 a.m. on January 15 near 108th street and 38th Avenue, police said.

The two suspects then punched and kicked him in the face and body, and one of the men hit him in the face with a beer bottle.

The victim suffered multiple fractures to the face, and was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital in critical but stable condition.

The two men are described as Hispanic and wearing dark colored clothing, and fled in an unknown direction following the attack.

Police have released photos of the suspects and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
