Cops looking for 3 men wanted for robbing and punching 19 people in Jackson Heights/Corona

Police are searching for three men who went on a robbery spree, assaulting and robbing 19 people in Jackson Heights and Corona over the last two months.

Between December 28 and February 6, police received 19 separate reports from victims who were approached from behind by two or three men who punched them in the head and pushed them to the ground before stealing their property and fleeing. None of the victims were seriously injured.

The suspects are reported as being Hispanic men between 20 and 30 years old.

The first reported incident was on December 28, when the suspects robbed a 28-year old man at 4:30 a.m. at Junction Boulevard and 40th Road.

The suspects struck again on December 30 when they robbed a 46-year-old man at 4:40 a.m. at 39th Avenue and 108th Street. Next, they robbed a 29-year-old man at 6 a.m. on January 1, also at 39th Avenue and 108th Street.

The fourth report was on January 6, when the suspects robbed a 26-year-old man at 11:30 p.m. at 42nd Avenue and 104th Street.

On January 9, the suspect robbed two victims, a 39-year-old man at 3:30 a.m. at 38th Avenue and 111th Street, and the second a 40-year-old man at 4 a.m. outside of 100-03 39th Avenue.

The suspects robbed two more people on January 13, one a 46-year-old man at 4:25 a.m. outside of 104-76 43rd Avenue and the second a 24-year-old man at 8:50 p.m. at 41st Avenue and National Street.

The ninth robbery was on January 14, when the suspects robbed a 44-year-old man at 45th Avenue and 104th Street. They then robbed a 22-year-old man on January 20 at 2:25 a.m. at 37th Avenue and 112th Street.

On January 22 the suspects robbed two more victims, one a 29-year-old man around 2:30 a.m. at 34th Avenue and 35th Avenue, and the second a 28-year-old man at 5:15 a.m. outside of 100-02 Roosevelt Avenue.

Next they robbed a 46-year-old man on January 23 at 2:35 a.m. at 43rd Avenue and 108th Street

On January 26 they robbed three victims. First, they robbed a 29-year-old man at 2:30 a.m. at 37th Avenue and 38th Avenue. Next they robbed a 35-year-old victim at 2:45 a.m. outside 37-42 102nd Street, and finally they robbed a 38-year-old man around 4:20 a.m. at 37th Avenue and 38th Street.

The 17th robbery was on January 28 at 3 a.m., when the suspects robbed a 29-year-old man at 102nd Street and 37th Avenue.

On February 5, the suspects robbed a 27-year-old man around 10:10 a.m. at Elmhurst Boulevard and Ithaca Street.

The most recent robbery was on Monday, when the suspects robbed a 51-year-old man at 1:45 a.m. at Cornish Avenue and Broadway.

Police have released a photo of one of the suspects, and anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.

None of the assaults occurred in Jackson Heights. They were mostly in Corona and a few in Elmhurst. Is it petty to ask that little details like that are correct in a news article like this? I get a Manhattan website making that mistake, but c’mon, you should know Jackson Heights.

Seven teens indicted for attempted murder in brutal Kissena Park gang attack on two girls: DA

A Queens grand jury indicted seven teenagers for attempted murder, gang assault, robbery, and other crimes for an attack on two girls inside Kissena Park in Flushing in early May.

The defendants, who are all 17 years old, were variously arraigned in Queens Supreme Court between June 4 and Wednesday in two separate 25-count indictments with two counts of attempted murder in the second degree. If convicted, they face up to 25 years in prison.
