NYPD: Man strikes 79-year old in face at Elmhurst McDonald’s, victim knocked to the ground

The police released a photo today of a man believed to be in his late twenties who allegedly struck a 79-year-old man in the face at the McDonald’s restaurant on Queens Blvd in October.

The police said that on Wednesday, October 12, at about 7:15 pm, the suspect approached the elderly man inside the 90-19 Queens Blvd restaurant and began striking him in the face and body. The victim fell to the ground, although was not hospitalized.

Police believe the incident was unprovoked.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic who is 25-35 years old, 5’8″, 150lbs, with black hair and a black goatee and beard. He was last seen wearing a chain with a cross, a black jacket, black pants and sneakers.
