Four suspects wanted for beating and stabbing man in Corona

Police are searching for four unapprehended men who took part in the assault and stabbing of a man in Corona on August 28.

According to the report, five men punched and kicked the 26-year-old victim around 11:25 p.m. outside of 39-09 104 Street. They also hit him with a bike chain and stabbed him with a knife.

The victim was transported to Elmhurst General Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police have arrested one suspect, 25-year-old Adan Rojas of Corona, and charged him with attempted murder.

The NYPD is still searching for the other four suspects.

One is a Hispanic man last seen with a backpack, wearing a blue t-shirt, dark colored pants and dark colored sneakers.

The second is a Hispanic man last seen wearing dark colored pants with a white t-shirt.

The third is a Hispanic man last seen wearing a blue shirt with the number 72 on it, and the last is a Hispanic man last seen wearing dark colored pants and a dark colored t-shirt.

Police have released a video of the suspects.

East Elmhurst man busted for a fatal collision in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on the 4th of July: NYPD

A Queens grand jury indicted an East Elmhurst man in connection to a July 4th fatal collision at Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

Yersson Diaz, 27, of Ericsson Street just south of LaGuardia Airport, appeared at Queens Criminal Court for a summons on Tuesday and was taken into custody, according to an NYPD spokeswoman. He was booked Tuesday afternoon at the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst, where he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
