The police are looking for two men who allegedly punched a man in the face and then took off with his cell phone and cash.
The incident took place on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 11:40 p.m., when the perpetrators approached the 41-year-old victim in front of 81-03 Roosevelt Avenue, where they punched him in the face before taking off with his phone and $80 cash.
The victim suffered injuries to his face and was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he was treated and released.
The two suspects have been described as follows:
- Male Hispanic, 5′.6″ to 5′.8″, 210 to 230 pounds, with tattoos on his arms and was wearing a gray t-shirt, and jeans.
- Male Hispanic, 5′.8″, 170 to 190 pounds, and was wearing a dark color t-shirt and shorts.
