Nine men were arrested in Jackson Heights after offering money for sex to an undercover cop who was posing as a prostitute, according to the NYPD.

The nine men were nabbed on the night of June 27th, all on Roosevelt Ave in the vicinity of 80th Street, within the confides of the 110 precinct, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

Each of the nine men offered the officer a sum of money in exchange for sexual activities, the NYPD spokeswoman said.

The men are all charged with patronizing a prostitute.

Some Native you are. JH is known more recently for being a working – middle class neighborhood. You can’t just purge all the businessowners and establishments, it’s called policy and investment.

Nuke Roosevelt Ave. already. It’s long over due to clean it up. Once Roosevelt is cleaned up the entire neighborhood changes for the better.

This just underscores that this should be legalized. To set up stings is so tacky and proves these NYPD’s have nothing to do.

Yeah, so tacky. You know that arresting johns has consistently worked in other countries (as opposed to arresting the prostitutes) and most street prostitutes are trafficked or otherwise coerced, right? No? Dumb@ss.

I’m no lawyer, but in New York State trafficking adult women is only a misdemeanor and not a felony. And if we combine poverty with drug addiction and a pimp’s beatings behind closed doors, we’ve got a perfect recipe for prostitution on Roosevelt Avenue.

Man sought for allegedly groping a subway rider while she waited on a platform in Elmhurst: NYPD

Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills and Transit District 20 are looking for a man, who is built like an NFL player, for allegedly groping a 50-year-old woman as she waited for the subway near the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst on Monday morning.

The victim was standing on the southbound M/R platform at the 59th Avenue subway station on the Queens Boulevard line when a stranger approached her and touched her left buttocks, police said. The brute fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The woman was not injured during the incident.
