NYPD: Man attempts to rob woman at knifepoint on the 103rd-Corona Plaza 7-train platform

Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob a woman at knife point on the 103rd Street-Corona Plaza 7-train platform in May.

The man approached the 44-year-old victim at the station, located at 103rd Street and Roosevelt Ave, on May 25th at 1:13 pm. He displayed a knife and demanded the woman’s property, according to the NYPD.

The woman refused and the suspect fled northbound on the 7-train to parts unknown, police said.

Police describe the suspect as a male, black or Hispanic, approximately 19-21 years old, 150 pounds, slim build with short hair. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored T-shirt, multi-colored jeans, and black sneakers.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
