A Yorkie was snatched from the stoop of a North Corona home last week and surveillance cameras captured the thief in the act.

The dog, called Linda, was on the front porch after it ran outside an open front door, its owners told NBC New York.

The video footage showed a woman drive up next to the house, pull over and then grab the dog.

The woman then got back into her car and drove off with the Yorkie.

The dog belongs to Melba and Wilifredo Filberty, who are in town from Florida to visit their daughter, according to NBC New York.

The couple has hung up fliers in the area and has reported the incident to the police.

They have delayed their return to Florida while they search for their dog, according to NBC New York.
