A Nepalese restaurant near Diversity Plaza has been temporary closed by the Department of Health.

Nepali Bhanchha Ghar, located at 74-06 37th Road, was closed by the Health Department on May 25th.

The restaurant was closed after receiving a dozen violations, many of which are considered severe, according to the Heath Department’s website.

Those violations included evidence of mice and roaches in the facility, as well as keeping food at the wrong temperature, mishandling of food, and not washing food contact surfaces properly.

The owners could not be reached for comment.
