Man Shot Outside Roosevelt Avenue Dunkin Donuts

A man was shot in front of a Roosevelt Avenue Dunkin Donuts this weekend, according to the NYPD.

Police said that two white men approached a 37-year-old man on Sunday at 2:20 p.m. in front of the Dunkin Donuts at 89-22 Roosevelt Ave., and asked him how old he was.

One of the two men then displayed a firearm and shot twice at the 37-year-old, with one bullet grazing him in the head, police said. The suspects then fled northbound along 89th Street.

The victim was removed to Brookdale Hospital, not likely to die, according to the NYPD. Upon arriving at the hospital the victim refused medical attention.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.

Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills and Transit District 20 are looking for a man, who is built like an NFL player, for allegedly groping a 50-year-old woman as she waited for the subway near the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst on Monday morning.

The victim was standing on the southbound M/R platform at the 59th Avenue subway station on the Queens Boulevard line when a stranger approached her and touched her left buttocks, police said. The brute fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The woman was not injured during the incident.
