Local lawmakers are pushing for the renovation of a dilapidated police station that they say is a disservice to the officers working inside.

U.S. Rep. Joe Crowley, State Sen. Jose Peralta and Assemblyman Francisco Moya gathered at the 110 Precinct, located at 94-41 43rd Ave., on Thursday to rally for its upgrade. Opened in 1940, the stationhouse hasn’t seen a significant renovation since and is now in “blatant disrepair,” according to Peralta.

“Our officers are working in subpar conditions at the stationhouse, and even though they have met these challenges with honor and pride, we have to ensure that we provide them with safe and modern facilities,” Peralta said.

The lawmakers want Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio to support funding a renovation, which they estimate would cost $70 million.

“We owe it to the men and women who we entrust to keep us safe, to provide them with the proper resources to effectively carry out their jobs,” Crowley said. “For the officers of the NYPD’s 110th Precinct in Corona, that means being able to work out of a facility that’s up to standards as well as from a strategically placed substation to better fight crime within their jurisdiction, which includes the second-largest park in the city.”

In addition to the renovation, the electeds are pushing for the construction of a precinct satellite station within Flushing Meadows Corona Park to address crime – particularly robberies, assaults and gang activity – that has been plaguing the park.

Louis Walker, chair of Community Board 4, called both the renovation and satellite “decades-old requests.”

“Our officers deserve better, our community deserves better, and with this kind of support, we hope to finally see these requests come to fruition,” he added.

The dilapidated appearance of 110 pct is appropriate for the “den of eniquity”it is. Surprisingly it hasn’t crumbled already. They are worthless. They have responded to the same complaint for a year now. Instead of doing their job, ticketing the truck that continues to illegally park in front of our houses….they spend time falsifying a response to the complaint. Shouldn’t they face consequences? Lies destroy the reputation of integrity. We don’t need liars with a badge and gun.
