A Jackson Heights man has been arrested on charges relating to the touching of two girls near his home—with one of the victim’s being just 10 years old.
Luis Ramon Bencosme, 29, allegedly approached a 17-year-old girl and attempted to touch her buttocks with his hand near 35th Ave and 92nd Street at around 8:00 pm on Feb. 17th, according to the NYPD.
The teenage girl was able to flee from Bencosme on foot, according to police.
Bencosme allegedly struck again at around 2:50 pm on Feb. 23rd. He grabbed the buttocks of a 10-year-old girl with his hand at 37th Ave and 99th Street, according to police. After the girl was violated, she was able to flee the location on foot.
Bencosme has been charged with a count of sex abuse, attempted forcible touching and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to police.
