The urgent care provider CityMD opened a new location in downtown Flushing today marking its 165th CityMD location across the Tri-State region.

The new downtown Flushing site located at 136-57 Roosevelt Ave. which is close to the USTA Billie Jean National Tennis Center, provides residents with a convenient urgent care location for athletes encountering sprains and strains. The new CityMD is also close to the 7 Train – Main Station and nearby bus lines.

The downtown Flushing center provides urgent health care services, including pediatric care and occupational health care to residents 365 days a year. The site also offers flu shots, cough & cold treatment, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) evaluation and treatment, COVID-19 testing and treatment services, and more.

Like all CityMDs, the average visit time (in and out) is typically less than 30 minutes. No appointment is necessary, and most insurance is accepted. The clinic will support the medical needs of individuals and families in Flushing with convenient weekday and weekend hours, as well as self-check-in kiosks.

The new downtown Flushing CityMD provides coordinated care through the clinic’s unique, centralized Aftercare Department where patients coordinate their follow-up care, ranging from referrals to pre-approvals and other appointments. The new location also features on-site state-of-the-art technology, including X-ray and EKG machinery.

The CityMD locations are staffed primarily by board-certified emergency medicine doctors. For the complete list of insurance options, click here.

(The 49 other states and the federal government have a dangerousness standard. NY State is the only state that lacks this essential protection from the State’s most dangerous offenders.)
