Police seek three men allegedly involved in debit card scam

The police are searching for three men who allegedly used skimming devices to obtain debit card numbers at a Jackson Heights bank and a 7-Eleven store in Corona from August through October 2015.

The debit card numbers obtained by the suspects would then be transferred to counterfeit cards for the purpose of making ATM withdrawals, police said.

Several victims discovered unauthorized transactions involving their accounts or were notified by banks that their information had been compromised.

The police released pictures of three men of interest believed to be involved in the scam.

The first photo is of a white man, dressed in a white T-shirt and wearing sunglasses . He was captured on tape on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the TD Bank located at 75-05 Northern Boulevard .

The second photo is of a black/Hispanic man that was taken on Thursday, September 3, 2015 inside the 7-Eleven at 99-49 Horace Harding Expressway.

The third photo is of a black/Hispanic man wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black jeans, black and white Jordan sneakers and a black hat. The photo was captured on Thursday, September 3, 2015 inside the 7-Eleven at 99-49 Horace Harding Expressway.
