Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Lobby of Jackson Heights Apartment Building Friday

A 29-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint as he entered the lobby of his Jackson Heights apartment building last week.

The victim was entering the building at 34-15 94th St. at around 9:40 p.m. on Friday when two men approached him from behind. One of the men then pulled out a firearm and demanded his property.

The suspects took the man’s wallet, jewelry and cellphone and fled on foot. The victim’s property was valued at approximately $1,800.

The two suspects are described as being between 20 and 30 years of age and were both last seen wearing dark clothing. Photos of the two men were taken near the scene of the crime.

The victim was not injured.
