The police are looking for three suspects who robbed two men in separate incidents in Corona earlier this month.

The three men approached a 57-year-old who was walking in the vicinity of 99th Street and 38th Avenue at around 5 a.m. on July 3 and demanded money.

When the man refused, one or the three suspects grabbed him from behind and put him in a chokehold while the two other men removed his wallet that contained $1,000, police said.

The men then fled north bound on 99th Street and encountered a 29-year-old man at 37th Avenue and demanded money. When the victim refused, one of the males grabbed him from behind in a chokehold while the other two individuals removed his iPhone 12 and his wallet, which contained $50 and credit cards.

Anyone with information in regard to these robberies is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
