Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Inside East Elmhurst House

A man was fatally shot inside a house in East Elmhurst Sunday night, police said.

Police responded to a 911 call of a shooting that took place at around 11:40 p.m. inside a home on 94th Street, near 30th Avenue. Cops arrived on the scene and discovered the victim with gunshot wounds to his chest and neck.

He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released, pending family notification.

The NYPD provided few details, other than the shooter was believed to have been wearing a black mask and black jacket.

The investigation remains ongoing. No arrests have been made.
