Police Looking for Woman Who Stabbed Man Inside a Corona Playground

Police are looking for a woman who allegedly stabbed a man inside a Corona playground last week.

The woman got into an argument with a 46-year-old man at Josephine Caminiti Playground, located on the corner of Corona Avenue and East 102 Street, at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 10.

The suspect then stabbed the man twice with a knife—in the shoulder and the back—before fleeing westbound on Corona Avenue. It is unclear what sparked the argument.

The man was transported to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.

Police released video footage and photos of the suspect taken near the scene of the incident.
