Two Men Allegedly Rob Santander Bank Branch on Roosevelt Avenue: NYPD

The Santander Bank branch on Roosevelt Avenue was robbed Thursday with the alleged perpetrators making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said that two men entered the 83-20 Roosevelt Ave. branch at around 9:30 a.m. before one of the men approached the teller and passed a note demanding money. The second suspect allegedly stood behind him.

The teller handed over cash and the pair fled the bank on foot westbound on Roosevelt Ave.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of these men is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
