A 40-year-old man was left in critical condition after being punched, kicked and stomped on last Saturday by a group of teenagers in Jackson Heights.
The victim was attacked on the corner of 90th Street and 37th Avenue by seven teenagers at around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, according to police. The suspects then took the man’s cell phone and $100 in cash.
The man was taken to NYC Health +Hospitals Elmhurst with severe head injuries with “bleeding on the brain,” according to a police spokesperson. The spokesperson did not have any information of the victim’s condition at this time.
The suspects are described by police as teenage males between 16 and 20 years old.
Police have released surveillance photos and video of the suspects.

Marijuana smoking trouble makers, They’re basically homeless because their own parents to want them home & they’re unemployed because no one would hire these violent criminals. They will be productive members of society, but a burden to society.

That area seems to have a history of gang related incidents. We need to bring back the police presence that was constant there a few years back. There used to 1-2 beat cops on that corner around the clock with NYPD watchtower surveillance. I’m calling on the 115th precinct to do all it can to protect the innocent in our neighborhood. These hoodlums need to be caught and put behind bars for a long time.
Could the Senator Jessica Ramos do something about the increased in violent crime going on in Jackson Heights ? Councilmember Daniel Dromm at least say something ?
DeBlasio doesn’t want to do anything about the increase of violence plaguing the city, he’s more concerned about painting BLM.
Mayor DeBlasio, Senator Jessica Ramos, and all those other people don’t want to punish violent teens. Maybe they should think about the victims and their families.
These teenagers that commit crimes like this should be punished as adults. Violent teens committing violent crimes.
