New York City started Phase 1 of its reopening today and city officials are calling on all New Yorkers to get tested.
The city has significantly ramped up its testing capacity–as officials works toward a full reopening.
Previously, only the elderly, those with underlying conditions, first responders and health care workers could be tested. Now, all New Yorkers — especially those who have participated in a protest over the past few days — are encouraged to be tested for COVID-19.
COVID-19 testing is free and has no out-of-pocket cost for those with insurance.
Most test results are available within 48 hours.

My husband and I were tested on July 7, 2020 at a street testing site on Junction and 37th St. We were not given any info on obtaining our results. My husband is an essential worker with the city and needs results before he returns to work since our vacation. Can you please advise us? Thank you
