A Whitestone man has died after crashing his motorcycle on the Cross Island Parkway yesterday.
Kevin Stout, of 160th St, was riding his black 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on the parkway near Exit 36 South, when he struck the median as he approached the exit at 7:40 p.m., police said.
Arriving officers found the 57-year-old motorcyclist lying on the roadway with trauma about the head. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.

I gave up motorcycles many years ago because I saw how unsafe they were and this was back in the 70s just a shame this young man lost his life
Since not too many cars on the road,some people speed and they causing accidents and it ends to death

Thank you for all you did for your community, he worked with families during to covid virus ensuring families received proper burials for loved ones. Checked in daily on friends fighting viruses in their homes and made sure everyone had what they needed to get by including the local homeless by purchasing them meals from restaurants. Kevin never wanted credit for any of his actions and often stayed behind the scenes. He was a brilliant kind man and a real loss to society.
Sorry for your loss. Im a former rider. I sold my bike because NYC roads aren’t biker friendly, especially at night. May he rest in peace.
