A man was found dead outside an industrial building in Corona this morning.
The victim, who is believed to be in his mid-30’s, was reported unconscious at around 6:45 a.m. in front of 102-19 44th Ave., according to police. The building is adjacent to the Port Washington LIRR line.
Police said they found the unidentified man lying on the ground. He was unconscious and unresponsive, police said.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.
Police said it does not appear that foul play was involved but stressed that the investigation is in its early stages and is ongoing.
The Medical Examiner will ultimately determine the cause of death.
The man’s identity has not yet been released, pending family notification.
