Police are searching for a scooter-riding bandit who robbed three people in Elmhurst and Corona this month.

In three separate incidents, the bandit rode up to victims on a red and yellow scooter, asked if they were gang members and stated he had a firearm while demanding cash and cellphones, according to police.

The unidentified man first struck at the end of September in Elmhurst. On Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9:30 p.m. he approached a 20-year-old man in front of 41-11 Gleane St. He demanded the victim’s cash and cellphone and also removed a yellow metal cross chain from around the victim’s neck before fleeing on the red and yellow scooter, police said.

He robbed another victim on Tuesday, Oct. 8 in Corona. At 11 a.m. he demanded cash and a cellphone from a 19-year-old man who was walking at the corner of 111th Street and 42nd Avenue. The suspect then took off on his scooter to an unknown direction, according to police.

The robber struck a third time on Monday, Oct. 14 in North Corona when he approached a 15-year-old girl at 1 p.m. near 105th Street and snatched her cellphone from her hand, cops said.

Why isn’t anybody protesting about the constant black on black crime? It’s been going on for so many years and they are wiping out their own race and for what??? Especially when elderly people get attacked?
