The NYPD is looking for two teenagers who are wanted for burglary and arson after they broken into a North Corona church’s shed and lit a piece of cloth on fire last month.
On Sep. 10 at 12:44 a.m., the two boys entered Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, located at 104-11 37th Ave., through an open gate. From there, they broke into a shed at the back with an unknown tool, according to police.
The teens removed two gas canisters from the shed and used the gasoline inside to light a piece of cloth on fire. They then fled with the gas cans, police said.
No damage was reported relating to the fire.
The NYPD has said the boys are between 13 and 15 years old and have released the above video of the incident.
