The police are looking to track down a man who grabbed a 32-year-old woman’s buttocks while she was climbing the staircase at the 74th Street-Broadway station last month.
The suspect allegedly grabbed the woman’s buttocks as she was going up the stairs in the mezzanine area of the station at around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31. The victim was on her way to the 7 train.

The man fled the scene after the alleged groping. The woman was uninjured.
The suspect is described as black, 20-30 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue and red T-shirt and dark pants.
A photo of the suspect was taken shortly after the incident.

So glad the police get involved in these incidents. Growing up in the 70s, girls got “goosed” all the time, the guy got slapped and everyone laughed. People need to keep their hands to themselves. There are cameras everywhere, you won’t get away with it.

Dromm’s office claims that the 1-1-5 does not always respond or act on his inquiries or requests for them to carry out normal policing in the JH area.
Always at 74st, something always happens there. The police should be both inside and outside by the buses.
But they won’t be. They’re never there when you need them.
