Police shut down an illegal drug operation in Corona on Friday when they raided a smoke and vape shop on 43rd Avenue, arresting two men and finding vast quantities of narcotics and controlled substances in the process.

Members of the NYPD Queens North Gang Squad executed a search warrant and raided El Dorado, a vape shop located at 102-28 43 Ave., at around 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.

Ahmad Saleh, 22, and Hussein Saleh, 35, both of Van Loon Street in Elmhurst, were taken into custody following the raid.

Both men were charged with several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, along with one count of criminal possession of narcotics.

The 110th Precinct took to Twitter to announce the bust. The tweet was accompanied by a picture of an extensive amount of drugs recovered at the scene.

Can we get the 108th Precinct to do the same at the corner store on 48th and Skillman? There is obvious drug activity happening in and around that store – the name of the store is called Daily Needs. I’ve called this in to the precinct several times now.

How do you know theres drug activity happening IN and around that store??? I live on that block and it is the most quietest block in the neighborhood. Are you sure you’re not being racist & are making false accusations?

Cp can I ask you something? Why is it that if someone mentions a block that should be , at least looked at, by police, why are you right away claiming racism? It’s like in the late 80’s and early 90’s when communities were complaining that the cops aren’t doing anything to prevent crime, then when they go in there it’s “oh, uh, your stopping people for their race? What stupidity! Well I got news for you, this is not the bronx or philly or detroit or south side chicago where snitches get stitches, we WILLreport on any any all crime in our community NON STOP!
If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem!
