A man was fatally shot in the head in Elmhurst yesterday, police said.
At 5:02 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot near Manila Street and Kneeland Avenue in Elmhurst. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man, possibly in his twenties, with a gunshot wound to his head, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made yet and the investigation is ongoing, the NYPD said. The identity of the man has not been released as police work to notify family members.
