Disappointed

For the record, I just saw a guy who looked like the guy in this picture and he was looking into apartments on my block in Jackson Heights. I called crime stoppers and they transferred me to 911. As the operator is asking me questions, someone started laughing loudly in the background. At this point the line of questioning changed from being helpful to questions like, are you injured, were there weapons involved? I’m like listen, I told you I saw the dude from my window. I said I hear someone laughing in the background and I don’t feel like you’re taking me seriously. I was already hesitant to call crime stoppers but now I’m really never going to get involved these situations. Bottom line, lock your windows and doors and don’t count on the system to help you.
