June 14, 2019 By Meghan Sackman

Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed two women and burglarized a home in Elmhurst in a crime spree last month.

The first robbery took place on May 13 at 2:45 p.m. at an apartment building in the vicinity of Corona Avenue and Broadway. The suspect entered a 70-year-old woman’s apartment, punched her in the head, and stole $28 from her purse before fleeing in an unknown direction on Broadway, according to police.

The woman suffered contusions to her head but refused medical attention at the scene.

The man struck again on May 24 at 7:10 p.m. behind Queens Place Mall, located at 88-01 Queens Blvd., according to police. The suspect approached a 63-year-old female, pushed her to the ground, and removed her purse which contained a credit card and about $40.

Two days later, on May 26 at 3 a.m., the suspect allegedly entered an unlocked apartment in the vicinity of Queens Boulevard and Grand Avenue. He removed $580 and fled.

The suspect is described by police as being black, about 6 feet 2 inches, and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a multicolored jacket.

Anyone with information in regard to this home invasion robbery is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

Sure, as soon as Mexico makes a "one time payment" for the wall like Trump promised

How would building a wall keep out a US citizen who’s already in the country? I think you’re a couple eggs short of the omelet.

I wonder why Trump has completely failed to deliver his central campaign promise? Sad!

JHeights my whole life

So you assaulted and robbed two senior citizen females for a grand total of 68$. You risk jail and a criminal record forever for 68$. You are not just an embarrassment as a human but also as a criminal. Don’t make any plans for the summer. You’ll be in the can soon.
