The suspect wanted for a fatal shooting on Roosevelt Avenue two weeks ago has been arrested.

Raul Zamora, 33, was arrested Saturday in connection to the May 5 shooting death of Jorge Manzanarez, which took place near the intersection of Roosevelt Ave and 93rd Street.

Zamora, who lives just blocks away from where the 93-12 Roosevelt Ave incident occurred, is facing charges of murder in the second degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

According to authorities, Zamora and two individuals got into an argument with Manzanarez, before Zamora took out a gun and shot him in the torso. The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 pm.

The police believe the incident was gang related, with Zamora being a member of the Sureno 13 gang, according to reports.
