A man was fatally stabbed in front of an Elmhurst house Thursday, according to police.
Jan Carlos Salcedo, a 23-year-old Bronx resident, was stabbed in the torso outside 43-28 Judge St. at around 12:20 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
Salcedo managed to make it to Elmhurst Hospital by private means but died in hospital.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

My condolences to the family and loved ones of this guy. I have a child in school right by there, and it would be very sad for any kid to lose a relative whatever the circumstance. It would have been nice for the staff who filed this article to include just how many stabbings/shootings have happened in the last 2 years. 90th Roosevelt- 2 times, 86 Roosevelt-shooting, Another Shooting, and I believe another stabbing. Not counting the stabbing on 90/37.
Yet, I say to out of town relatives that it’s a nice, safe neighborhood.
look at that illegal parking in the photo. It’s actually against the law to concrete a front yard. That would be a great article for JHPost- all the code violations in the area.
